Monday Already?

What a week! This week honestly flew by and it was a pretty good one!!!

So Tuesday was a normal day we had studies contacting you know the usual then had English and it was way good there is this new kid that came from Albania.  He's here playing soccer and needs to practice his English that's what he told us when we met him so he came! He's way dope!! He was also really interested in why we are here so there is definitely some potential there!

Wednesday oh man Wednesday.... was not the best day I really think the Lord was really trying to test me! So first of Tomas, that guy that me and Elder Jacobson met didn't show up so I was a little upset about that! So we had nothing else on plan so we literally contacted the whole day and the sun was out the whole time and my arms got burnt to a crisp but that wasn't even the worse part! So we contacted this old dude maybe like 55 and he didn't have interest so I hit him up with the alspon jake se mate dneska? at least how are you today? The dude literally just started yelling at me for that and I usually don't say anything back but I was kinda offended so I just said, "Sorry sir but I didn't ask anything about religion all I asked was how are you today? Yeah that made him even more mad for some reason and he used some mean words so all I said was that God loves you and walked away he was still yelling as we walked away then 5 mins later I stepped in freaking gum, then about 30 mins after that some teenagers were mocking us and stuff asking if we believed in god so I did the natural thing and said, "Yes I do! do you?" I don't think he knew we spoke Czech so that kinda startled him then said no I believe in weed. so I just told him that I'm sorry to hear that and that its bad for you as they are just laughing at us! I've never really been angry while contacting but man the Czechs were really testing me on Wednesday! After that we took a break and read in the Book of Mormon and I said a nice long prayer after that! Lets just say Wednesday was not the best! At least now that it is hot everyone sells ice cream and man it sure is amazing ice cream, I've had some everyday!

Thursday was so fun we went on a vylet with Jiri! We hiked to some castle ruins and it was so pretty and way cool! Then we had lunch and shared a spiritual thought with him! He is so cool and does every commitment but prayer so that is our next stop with him! Hes doing good though and asked if we could go on a vylet every week! haha we told him maybe every other week! I love that guy!

Friday we had district meeting and interviews with President so that was good! In my interview we mostly talked about Marcela and what more we can do for her! We finally got a meeting with her on Saturday and its way lit, president will be here in Jhlava so we are going to teach with him I'm so pumped!! Our goal is baptismal date! Shes so ready she just needs to see that she is ready!!

Sunday we drove to Prague with Marek for stake conference pretty cool every member in the Czech was there!! I got to see Filip and all my missionary friends but I was really bummed that Marcela could not come! Then when we got home we went to catholic mass with Adriana it was good we talked about stake conference and stuff!!

Spring is finally about here and I can't tell you how happy I am for it!! I wore a short sleeve shirt everyday this week except one!!! All the trees are starting to bud, man I think I actually got sunburned the other day!!!

So I had a great week! Started the week off with Zone Conference v praze je to byl uzany!!! We talked about how we can better help others and by doing that we have to have more charity and love it was super good and was fun to see all the homies!! Elder Gubler was their and Scmutz! They aren't in our zone but Gubi had visa work the day they had theirs so they got to come to ours it was so much fun!!! Just everyone was there it was just so much fun!! Great day!! Then me and elder Jacobson started an exchange right after!! Hes in his 3rd Transfer so only one behind me!! He is a cowboy like literally!! He's nationally ranked for roping and would tour the whole country so cool!!! That night we just went to dinner with Marek because that's all we had time for!

Wednesday was a blast!! Eder Jacobson were here in Jihlava and we had a grand ole time and had the goal to talk with literally everyone!! Even if it was a huge group of teenagers or something we would talk to them! haha teenagers are scary especially in groups!! It was fun then the rest of the district came over about 3pm and we did some group finding! SO Elder Jacobson  and I had a way cool experience we talked to this guy and he was interested so we asked if he could meet another day and he said no but he told us he had time now! SO we were like yep ok so we found a bench on the namesti and taught him the whole restoration it was so awesome!! Kinda weird me being the older one and kinda leading the discussion and him looking to me for words but even weirder was that I had the answers for him!! I testify that the gift of tongues is real! He set up for next Wednesday so that is was cool!!! He was so cool!!! so that was my Wednesday!

Thursday nothing special weekly planning and kontaktovani! 

Friday was good but I think was testing me on charity everyone was so mean it was so frustrating and was hard not to be sassy back to people who give sassy answers but I think I did ok I started ending each kontakt with Buh vas miluje just so they know!! Then we got a call a hour before inspiration night asking if we could do it so that was fun!! Ended up watching the restoration in Czech and it was cool petra is back from America so it was fun catching up with her!

Saturday was farm day nothing special just cleaned up a field and stuff and moved stuff!!! Next week we might go back to the original and actually work with animals!!

Sunday was a good one!! Marcela came and it made me so happy!! President svoboda gave an amazing talk on his conversion and hid baptism he was literally talking to her it was great so we kinda caught up and she told us that she went to a stake activity and loved it!! It was great !! Shes so great she just makes me happy and she was just answering every question during Sunday school I gave her knuckles after she answered a question and prez svoboda was like yep ok I have nothing to add!! Her schedule is crazy but we over heard her talking with members that she is coming to church more and made the commitment to not work on Sunday! So proud!! We just need a meeting so we can give her a date!! So we have Stake conference in Prague next Sunday and her husband cant go so she is trying to figure out to get a ride there!! and the whole Czech republic is going so I get to see everyone all the missionaries and members I'm so excited to see Filip from Ostrava!!!

Yeah so my week was pretty great!!! We got some things planned this week so I'm excited and interviews with prez on Friday woot woot I've been having this feeling that I need to stay in Jihlava next transfer so that is my first question for him!!!

Hey there family How goes it! Hope everyone had a great Easter Sunday and all that jazz. Easter was cool here with the whipping and stuff pretty funny stuff unfortunately I don't have any videos!! My bad! I'll get some next year! 

So pretty mild week! Tuesday was good it was Pday and we had English not a whole lot of people there because of the holiday but had a cool experience.  My spiritual thought at the end for a guy named Karel turned into me teaching the whole Plan of Salvation, drawing it out and everything then him taking a pamphlet home so that was a cool experience!

Wednesday was long we contacted literally all day and man it was rough.  People were way mean and no one wanted to listen I wanted to give up a couple times but I wasn't going to let satan get the best of me so we kept going! Finally we had a decent conversation with someone they didn't set up or anything but it was nice to talk to someone longer than 5 mins haha!

Thursday we went to Prague in the morning because elder Hamilton had a doctors appointment so that was kind of our day! He has this weird thing on his eye so yeah we went to the doctor!

Friday we had district meeting and weekly planning real fun stuff!

Saturday was a farm day we dug a 5 foot deep hole  for a porta potty literally felt like I was in the movie Holes then yeah had lunch went home and showered then did a lil contacting!

Sunday was good had church and then went over to members house for lunch then we played her husband in chess as always and yep still haven't beat that old man! Hes a genius when it comes to chess!! Then went contacting. I had the goal to bear my testimony to someone that day! So we started talking to this young couple and they were super nice we kinda ended up teaching the whole restoration in about 10 mins and then I had the opportunity to bear my testimony and it was just an awesome experience for me, they didn't set up but it was still a great experience!! 

SO yeah that was my week!! so we have a lesson with Jiri tonight though so I'm excited he wasn't able to meet with us Friday because he was sick but he wanted to meet today so I'm happy!! Also Marcela is good haven't been able to meet but have had contact with her everyday through text so that is still great!! Might have a meeting this week!!

Also we have zone conference tomorrow way excited!! OH and I don't think I told you all but my "dad" Elder Mueller went AP. I was so proud I'm excited to see him tomorrow!!! 

Also weather is amazing now, I wore a short sleeve white shirt today it was heaven!! Except I'm almost albino! Probably whiter than Seth and Katie hahaha jk!!!

Man what a week! Weather is warming up finally, today was amazing I'm just in a sweater!!!  Hamilton and I get along and he has all of the prince of Egypt soundtrack haha so I'm grateful for that!! Haven't had much luck on the finding block but had a great lesson with Jiri very spiritual! Talked a lot about faith and prayer with him he told us he would pray about what we have been teaching! Marcela's daughter was sick so she couldn't meet but we had contact with her everyday through the phone still way golden!  Marek is stubborn but at McDonalds we had an awesome hour and half discussion about God last night!

So Conference wholly cow what a conference so many great messages. I can pick a favorite and all the revelation that took place was amazing we are truly led by a prophet of God in this day and will be until Christ comes again! So many answers at conference to prayers but probably one of my favorite talks was by Elder de Feo of the seventy about love idk but the spirit just hit me so hard I was bawling so dumb but it was amazing! I am truly grateful for our Savior and everything that he has done for us and that I have the opportunity to bear my testimony to people on the streets of this beautiful country!! I had a lot of prayers answered this General Conference it was an amazing Easter that is for sure and what a way to celebrate it!!! Also fun fact Elder de Feo was in Prague  6 weeks ago so that was cool!! Yeah every talk was outstanding but that one hit home for me!!

We had a good week I'm excited for our next lesson with Jiri! Kind of a crazy week because I was kinda just handed the reins by elder Gubler. I know this transfer just started but I have a feeling already that I will be here for another! I feel like they need me in this city so I'm excited to see the miracles this transfer and really get into the work! I love you all and love seeing pictures and just everything, the little boys all look so different! Russell looks like he is from Europe haha! Everyone have a fantastic week!!

Transfers

Well the start of my 4th transfer has started I'm still here in Jihlava and my new comp is Elder Hamilton. So my last week with Elder Gubler was great he knew he was already leaving because he's been here 6 months and prez told him he was leaving like 3 times so our whole week was packed with saying goodbye to members and investigators and what not!

Last Monday was good we just hung out with Trebc missionaries and played some bball then the elders slept over because Elder Gubler and Andrus had visa work in Prague the next morning so me and elder partridge had another little exchange so that was fun and they got back a lil after lunch and went back to normal and had English it was a good English class and we invited all of our students to church to hear me and elder sing and I had a talk!

Wednesday we had a lesson lunch with Jiri and it was good he was sad that Elder Gubler was leaving so that was sad and all then just contacted the rest of the day and basic missionary work!

Thursday we had not much on plan just contacting and stuff not much happened

Friday we had our last district meeting and sad our goodbyes to the peeps we knew were leaving so that was sad it was a fun district! Then we had inspiration night and stuff and had a good time with members and me elder Gubler and Peta practiced singing for church!

Saturday we worked on a different guys little farm and pretty much just dug a hole for his well then raked a field but it was still fun then roasted hot dogs over the fire! Came home showered then went to catholic mass with Adriana and had a little lesson with her after she said she was going to come to church but didn't show it was way sad! Also got our transfer calls,elder Gubler is with schmuts in Ostrava so I was pumped for that! 

Sunday was good I gave a talk it was little rough but still ok language is still wrecking me haha!  Czech is a pretty language just difficult casing really is hard! But its coming I'm making progress everyday!! haha yeah all the sounds come from the front of the mouth except the ch sounds its like a tv when it goes blank and fuzzy,  Then Elder Gubler and I sang "Come thou Fount" in Czech it was alright haha I'm no singer so it was interesting haha! Then Gubler spent the rest of day packing and stuff and that was about it! I got to talk to Schmutz on the phone this morning so that was way fun!

What is up everybody!! We had a fetching good week it was way lit!

1st things first, we had training on Tuesday in Prague it was fun to be back in Prague it was a good training and I learned good things! Was way fun to see some people and all that jazz!

Wednesday was just a normal day full of contacting and all that other stuff!!

Thursday was super awesome, we had the elders from Trebic come to Jihlava because we had an exchange.  I was with Elder Partridge hes in his 2nd transfer and is so funny! We had a goal to give out a book of Mormon and it was cool the first person that we talked to we gave him a book of Mormon he didn't want to meet or anything but said he'd read it so we still had success! Then we met back up because elder Gubler and I had a lesson with Marcela and we felt like we both needed to be there for this lesson! So we went over to her house and had an amazing lesson it was so good she is literally the best and sorry mom but she made us some way good paninis that topped yours! So we had a lesson on personal revelation and it was really good we tied it into Joseph Smith and it was great and her husband says he doesn't have interest but he sits at the computer and will interrupt and ask us questions so we are working on him too!! But Marcela is awesome she literally had personal revelation during the lesson when she told us that she needs to work less and come to church more! It was awesome then we talked about baptism! She told us that she wants it and she told us who she wants to baptize her Bro Navrotil they are like best friends its lit! And she just needs to stop smoking so we have on plan to give her a baptism date and work on smoking! She is so Golden!!

Friday we finished up our exchange and then did weekly planning!

Saturday farm day was fun just did a bunch of little jobs and fed the baby lambs and then went and fed the four cows that they have well actually 3 now they killed one I have a picture way cool they cut that baby in half!

Sunday was good church and stuff Marcella couldn't make it so that was a bummer but we met with Marek and watched him try to get a models number because there was a fashion show at the mall so that was hilarious she turned out to be 18 so we had a good laugh about that!! 

Hard to believe that this is the last week of the Transfer! I will be probably staying here in Jihlava and Gubler will be leaving! We had a good run and basically spent our whole transfer building back up relationships with a couple people who said they were forced to baptism by other people! We have been finally breaking through with these people and two said that they were coming to church next week!!!

Ahoj

What is up everybody!! Its finally getting warmer, yesterday we just went out in sweaters it felt like heaven a lil cold with the wind but we didn't care! We were so excited to get our huge coats off! And because the weather hasn't been as cold we feel like people have been more willing to talk its been great!! We found 3 new investigators this week so that was so awesome!!

Tuesday was good we just contacted, studied and did more contacting then had English class! I always love English because I feel like that is really when I learn most about the culture because I just ask them questions the whole time so its pretty cool!! I know a lot about hockey now!

Wednesday was a good day we went over to Zdar again and contacted literally all day my feet were wrecked after that! It was way cool though we contacted the whole city and then contacted to a Zamek and back so that was was pretty then we headed back to the bus station and headed home and went strait to bed!! 

Thursday we just had district meeting and had lunch with Marek!! Hes doing good just doesn't know if its all true!!

Friday was good contacted did all that good stuff then had inspiration night and Marcela came it was awesome to see her she is still doing so good!! Brother Navrotil our branch mission leader is a stud and gave a powerful spiritual thought on the Book of Mormon it was awesome!

Saturday was so much fun we got to go to the farm because it wasnt too cold or anything!! We started the day scooping poop and then we got to bottle feed baby sheep it was so much fun!! And while we were shaving the sheep we heard weird noises and went over the pen and looked in and witnessed 2 lambs being born that was pretty crazy! Kinda gross wiping all the slime off them but still way cool!!!! Then we cleaned one of the chicken coops then had a nice big czech lunch so great!!!

Sunday was awesome Marcela came and was talking with brother Navrotil and he said that they were talking about baptism and stuff and she knows its the next step so that was awesome!! We have a lesson with her this Thursday so we are way siked because we haven't met in forever!! So we are ecstatic!!! So freaking pumped I love her she is so great!!!!! Then that night we went to Catholic mass with Adriana so that was fun!! She couldn't meet after though which is a bummer but still we got to see her!!!
