Transfers

Well the start of my 4th transfer has started I'm still here in Jihlava and my new comp is Elder Hamilton. So my last week with Elder Gubler was great he knew he was already leaving because he's been here 6 months and prez told him he was leaving like 3 times so our whole week was packed with saying goodbye to members and investigators and what not!

Last Monday was good we just hung out with Trebc missionaries and played some bball then the elders slept over because Elder Gubler and Andrus had visa work in Prague the next morning so me and elder partridge had another little exchange so that was fun and they got back a lil after lunch and went back to normal and had English it was a good English class and we invited all of our students to church to hear me and elder sing and I had a talk!

Wednesday we had a lesson lunch with Jiri and it was good he was sad that Elder Gubler was leaving so that was sad and all then just contacted the rest of the day and basic missionary work!

Thursday we had not much on plan just contacting and stuff not much happened

Friday we had our last district meeting and sad our goodbyes to the peeps we knew were leaving so that was sad it was a fun district! Then we had inspiration night and stuff and had a good time with members and me elder Gubler and Peta practiced singing for church!

Saturday we worked on a different guys little farm and pretty much just dug a hole for his well then raked a field but it was still fun then roasted hot dogs over the fire! Came home showered then went to catholic mass with Adriana and had a little lesson with her after she said she was going to come to church but didn't show it was way sad! Also got our transfer calls,elder Gubler is with schmuts in Ostrava so I was pumped for that! 

Sunday was good I gave a talk it was little rough but still ok language is still wrecking me haha!  Czech is a pretty language just difficult casing really is hard! But its coming I'm making progress everyday!! haha yeah all the sounds come from the front of the mouth except the ch sounds its like a tv when it goes blank and fuzzy,  Then Elder Gubler and I sang "Come thou Fount" in Czech it was alright haha I'm no singer so it was interesting haha! Then Gubler spent the rest of day packing and stuff and that was about it! I got to talk to Schmutz on the phone this morning so that was way fun!

What is up everybody!! We had a fetching good week it was way lit!

1st things first, we had training on Tuesday in Prague it was fun to be back in Prague it was a good training and I learned good things! Was way fun to see some people and all that jazz!

Wednesday was just a normal day full of contacting and all that other stuff!!

Thursday was super awesome, we had the elders from Trebic come to Jihlava because we had an exchange.  I was with Elder Partridge hes in his 2nd transfer and is so funny! We had a goal to give out a book of Mormon and it was cool the first person that we talked to we gave him a book of Mormon he didn't want to meet or anything but said he'd read it so we still had success! Then we met back up because elder Gubler and I had a lesson with Marcela and we felt like we both needed to be there for this lesson! So we went over to her house and had an amazing lesson it was so good she is literally the best and sorry mom but she made us some way good paninis that topped yours! So we had a lesson on personal revelation and it was really good we tied it into Joseph Smith and it was great and her husband says he doesn't have interest but he sits at the computer and will interrupt and ask us questions so we are working on him too!! But Marcela is awesome she literally had personal revelation during the lesson when she told us that she needs to work less and come to church more! It was awesome then we talked about baptism! She told us that she wants it and she told us who she wants to baptize her Bro Navrotil they are like best friends its lit! And she just needs to stop smoking so we have on plan to give her a baptism date and work on smoking! She is so Golden!!

Friday we finished up our exchange and then did weekly planning!

Saturday farm day was fun just did a bunch of little jobs and fed the baby lambs and then went and fed the four cows that they have well actually 3 now they killed one I have a picture way cool they cut that baby in half!

Sunday was good church and stuff Marcella couldn't make it so that was a bummer but we met with Marek and watched him try to get a models number because there was a fashion show at the mall so that was hilarious she turned out to be 18 so we had a good laugh about that!! 

Hard to believe that this is the last week of the Transfer! I will be probably staying here in Jihlava and Gubler will be leaving! We had a good run and basically spent our whole transfer building back up relationships with a couple people who said they were forced to baptism by other people! We have been finally breaking through with these people and two said that they were coming to church next week!!!

Ahoj

What is up everybody!! Its finally getting warmer, yesterday we just went out in sweaters it felt like heaven a lil cold with the wind but we didn't care! We were so excited to get our huge coats off! And because the weather hasn't been as cold we feel like people have been more willing to talk its been great!! We found 3 new investigators this week so that was so awesome!!

Tuesday was good we just contacted, studied and did more contacting then had English class! I always love English because I feel like that is really when I learn most about the culture because I just ask them questions the whole time so its pretty cool!! I know a lot about hockey now!

Wednesday was a good day we went over to Zdar again and contacted literally all day my feet were wrecked after that! It was way cool though we contacted the whole city and then contacted to a Zamek and back so that was was pretty then we headed back to the bus station and headed home and went strait to bed!! 

Thursday we just had district meeting and had lunch with Marek!! Hes doing good just doesn't know if its all true!!

Friday was good contacted did all that good stuff then had inspiration night and Marcela came it was awesome to see her she is still doing so good!! Brother Navrotil our branch mission leader is a stud and gave a powerful spiritual thought on the Book of Mormon it was awesome!

Saturday was so much fun we got to go to the farm because it wasnt too cold or anything!! We started the day scooping poop and then we got to bottle feed baby sheep it was so much fun!! And while we were shaving the sheep we heard weird noises and went over the pen and looked in and witnessed 2 lambs being born that was pretty crazy! Kinda gross wiping all the slime off them but still way cool!!!! Then we cleaned one of the chicken coops then had a nice big czech lunch so great!!!

Sunday was awesome Marcela came and was talking with brother Navrotil and he said that they were talking about baptism and stuff and she knows its the next step so that was awesome!! We have a lesson with her this Thursday so we are way siked because we haven't met in forever!! So we are ecstatic!!! So freaking pumped I love her she is so great!!!!! Then that night we went to Catholic mass with Adriana so that was fun!! She couldn't meet after though which is a bummer but still we got to see her!!!

Wassup?

What is up everybody!  Man, seems like a crazy week back home with mom meeting Judy and all that! So crazy!!! Mom, I was praying for you everyday!! That video was insane I cried a lil when I watched it so cool!!!  Also Kennedy going into the MTC this week! woohoo! Kennedy, its going to be pretty freaking weird at first but you'll be amazing!!

My week was awesome! So many miracles!!! So every district has a thing called standards in the mission! Every week we are expected to get 1 new person at church 1 new bapt date and 6 new investigators! So we really wanted to hit it this week! Only 3 other districts have done it so far! So we set aside a day to fast so that we could hit it!

And we did we hit standards! It was such a good week! 

Tuesday the ZLs came for an exchange here in Jihlava and it was awesome I was with Elder Mueller the ole father son duo! It was awesome we found 2 new investigators and gave out 2 Books of Mormon!!! It was awesome then we made a crap ton of halusky for dinner it was so much fun just for dudes in our tiny apartment!!!

Ok so we have an eternigator here! His name is Marek Chvatel he's such a bro!! He was found when he was 19 now he is 34! He played in the NHL and all around the world and probably the sexiest man alive! So we actually gave him a bapt date and he fasted with us on Sunday it was awesome!!!! Dad he actually really wants to meet you because now he does real estate so he was interested in Heywood Management! So we are way pumped so we will be working with him a lot these next weeks!! He just needs an experience with prayer or something to get him over the edge!! We are keeping it on the down low only the aps know because we don't want other missionaries messaging him and stuff and spook him out!!! So that was a miracle!!!

Then we had interviews with Prez on Friday and it was way good! Learned a lot on how I can be a better missionary!! Then had inspiration night!!!

Saturday we didn't get to work on the farm again just because it has been so cold that everything was frozen and there was nothing we could do! But we went to Catholic Mass again with our investigator Adriana and had a lesson after!! Then she came to church!!! It was awesome!!!

Sunday was good too we had a couple member visits then a lesson with Jiri it went well and he is keeping commitments but just doesn't see the why yet!!! But still doing good!!!

Marcela is great just her new job!! But still golden texts us all the time!!!

It was a fantastic week!!! Love you all!!!

Been asking for a picture of his apartment since September and he finally sent one!!

Hey Momma Bear,  my week was so much fun!  It is getting very cold here!!  Negative 30 degrees Celsius today, I don't know how much that is in Fahrenheit but I was sure dang cold!!  Prague was a lot of fun, we went on a run in the morning to Charles Bridge to watch the sunrise and it was so pretty.  As far as missionary work we don't stay in the tourists sites because we want Czech people not tourists!  Its modern on the outskirts!  We took a bus there about 2 hours than took a train home about the same!

On Sunday we went to catholic mass again with an investigator.  It was good and she wants to meet again so even better.

Snow & Cows

So just a pretty normal week this week! 

Monday we had a lesson with Jiri who is a really cool guy.  He is in the Czech equivalent of the national guard and just a way cool guy.  We taught plan spaseni  and he really seemed to get it but still had a lot of questions!!  He couldn't come to church because of work but we have a lesson with him this Tuesday so we are excited for that!

Marcela still hasn't been able to meet because of her new job but still golden and loves us and still wants the gospel so just a matter of time on her!

Thursday to Friday, went on exchanges! I was with Elder Andrus who is an awesome guy but just quiet! We got a guy's number so that was success!! Fun to be in Trebic and stuff!! Saturday we worked on the farm!  Just cleaned the stables for the cows and took pictures with them and what not! The best part about the farm is that they feed us lunch after and man we eat all their animals! We ate fried pig and mashed potatoes, it was so Good!  Then later that day we visited a member and that was about it! 

Sunday was good we found a guy and have a meeting with him on Wednesday so we are excited about that!! 

(answering questions) Also, I do love my comp we have so much fun and he;s a hard worker the transfer is going by too fast!!! I'm over my cold but it was a rough couple days! No pics of my apartment but it is way smaller then the first one, I can be in all 4 rooms at once. 

A lot of cold weather this week!! We freaking froze!! A lot of snow!! ON our a exchange we took a run in a blizzard for exercise time so that was fun! We had a lot of fun sliding around and all that! But while contacting I slipped on ice and landed right on my bag and busted my camera broke the lcd screen so its like half black which stinks but it still works haha!!

Way excited for this week we have an exchange with the aps in Prague so super excited about that!! will be there on Thursday!!

Hey whats up fam!! Pretty good week except that I got sick on Thursday so that was not fun but at least it was only for a day! Just when I thought it was starting to warm up we got hit with a lot of snow which kinda sucked and I slipped and ate crap so that sucked have a nice big bruise on my butt!

SO Tuesday we had training in Ceske budejovice Super pretty town like gorgeous pretty! Elder Gubler served there so after while we were waiting for our train he showed me around!! Training was really good it was about getting people to church and all that jazz! It was fun to see Elder Mueller but I missed seeing Schmutz and Jarvis because we aren't in the same zone anymore which is sad! But good Day

Wednesday was good, just went contacting all day and then helped a member with something and then taught English! The afternoon was kinda rough because I felt myself getting sick so it was hard to get going. Then Thursday I slept in because I was not feeling good, bad cold but felt better that later that night still a dumb day not being able to do anything but I did finish the Book of Mormon so that was good!

Friday we just contacted all day and didn;t have much success which stunk but still good then headed to inspiration night and it was great Marcella came with her family and brought her mom so that was awesome she is so ready for baptism, just needs to quit smoking! She is so Golden!

Saturday we didn't work on the farm because Jarda was out of town so we contacted and at night then went to Catholic mass with one of our investigators it was pretty freaking weird but was cool! After we got pizza and had a lesson about prophets and hooked her up with the Gospel Library app and she was super excited she really likes general conference talks!!!! SO awesome!

Sunday was great we had 5!! investigators at church it was awesome Elder Gubler gave a talk on the gospel of Jesus Christ it was exactly what they need to hear!!!

Overall great week except for Thursday!!
